One Marion County resident in his or her twenties tested positive for COVID-19 on July 23, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 23 positive cases reported in Marion County among residents in their twenties, accounting for 21.5 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 23, Marion County has reported a total of 107 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, of which have ended with the victim’s death.
