VIII. ONGOING BUSINESS

1. Elmwood Cemetery Maintenance

a. Derek brought up that a new mower was purchased to help with maintenance. The Committee was agreed that a new mower was good, and to add a mulch plate to it to prevent grass from covering everything if the grass doesn’t get too tall. In the future, it was recommended to purchase a rear discharge lawn mower

IX. NEW BUSINESS

1. 2022 Flag Schedule

i. Mathus mentioned that we need to get more metal straps, but he thought we had enough brackets to hang the flags. However, the Committee feels like we need more assistance hanging up the flags than just a few Committee members. Additionally, flags with veteran’s name tags on them need to be removed and sewed back on. Stevens said she would help to get the tags removed and sewed onto new flags.
