City of Greenville Planning Commission met Nov. 28.

Here are the minutes provided by the commission:

Following the Executive Order issued by Governor Pritzker and with the surge in COVID Omicron variant, it has been determined by Mayor Barber that this public meeting be held both in-person and by remote participation.

The Planning Commission meeting was called to order on November 28, 2022 at 6:00 PM by Chairman Jack Chism.

1. ROLL CALL

Committee Members Present:

Planning Commission Member Blake Knox, Planning Commission Member Brent Shaw, Planning Commission Member Chance Vohlken, Planning Commission Member Eugene Holt, Planning Commission Member Jack Chism, and Planning Commission Member Jane Nelson

Committee Members Absent:

Planning Commission Member Dennis Warren

Staff Present: Inspector Jeff Ketten, City Manager JoAnn Hollenkamp, and City Clerk Jody Weiss

Public Present: Doug Ratermann, HMG Engineer; Mr & Mrs. Dave Probst

3. CITIZEN INPUT / COMMENTS ON ANY AGENDA ITEM OR OTHERWISE

3.1. Mrs. Dave Probst was concerned about the letter she received regarding the public hearing and asked for an explanation. Doug Ratermann explained that this subdivision plat has 8 lots and 5 are sold. This subdivision started in the 80/90’s and due to taxes the owner sold the plots as individual subdivision plots. The property tax calculation was changed in the last 10 years, so this subdivision plat is to clean up the incremental development.

Motion by Chance Vohlken, seconded by Jane Nelson, to approve

March 28, 2022 minutes

5. MATTERS OF CONSIDERATION

5.1. Executive Estates Preliminary Subdivision Plat

Ratermann explained that than bring to the board 3 different times, they are bringing this as a preliminary subdivision plat as one request. The boundaries are approved per the original. Chism said there is nothing new on this. Lot 2 access will be from Idler Lane and the other 3 will be off of Ballyvaughn.

Motion by Brent Shaw, seconded by Chance Vohlken, approve the preliminary subdivision plat for property identified as parcels # 05-10-12-326- 001 and # 058-10-12-135-001

RESULT: Carried
