Illinois SB1735 passed the state House on May 23.

The bill, as it was introduced in the Senate by Sen. Omar Aquino (D-2) on Feb. 15, will amend the Illinois Public Aid Code, according to the General Assembly website.

The measure passed the Senate on April 10. Assuming the Senate concurs with the House, the measure will be sent to the governor to decide if it should be signed into law.
