Macoupin County Board Economic Development Committee met June 9.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Members Present: Holly Klausing, Harry Starr, John Blank, and Kristi Dunnagan Members Absent: Ryan Kilduff, Jon Payne, and Molly Rosentreter Officials and Department Heads Present: Larry Schmidt and Pete Duncan 

1. Call to Order 

1.1 Roll Call 

There were 4 members present and 3 members absent. 

2. Agenda Items 2.1 Requesting Power To Act on Letters of Support for Energy Grant 

Duncan said that the community energy transition grant that the county applied for was open again this month. Like last time, phase one would require the county board to have a letter of support for any district applying. Since the grant had just opened and the deadline is the end of the month, this would allow the committee to approve letters for anyone who applied. 

Motion to recommend to the full Board. 

Moved by: John Blank 

Seconded by: Harry Starr 

Carried 

3. Executive Session – Personnel Grant Manager 

Motion by Blank, seconded by Dunnagan to resolve into executive session at 5:33 pm. All in favor. Motion carried. 

Motion by Dunnagan, seconded by Blank to arise from executive session at 6:30 pm. All in favor. Motion carried. 

4.  Adjournment
