Shriners Children’s hosts screening clinic for orthopedic conditions in children

Shriners Children’s St. Louis is set to host a screening clinic dedicated to pediatric orthopedic conditions on May 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event will take place at Salem Township Hospital, located at 1201 Ricker Dr., Salem, IL.

The clinic aims to evaluate children for a variety of orthopedic issues. Families can make appointments by calling (618) 322-1822, and walk-ins are also welcome.

Conditions being screened include scoliosis, clubfoot, hip issues, limb deformities, differences in limb length, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, myelodysplasia, arthrogryposis, webbed fingers or toes, rickets, and sports injuries. The clinic will also offer specialized plastic surgery consultations.
