The HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese Auxiliary will host its annual Used Book Fair and Bake Sale from April 9 to April 11 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 480 N Walnut St. in Breese.

The event will run Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to organizers. Admission on Thursday, April 9, is $6 from 10–11 a.m., then $3 until closing; admission is free on Friday and Saturday.

Special pricing will be available during the fair: all items are half price on Friday after 3 p.m., and again on Saturday morning until early afternoon. From 2–4 p.m. Saturday, shoppers can fill provided bags for $3 each, with all remaining items offered for free after that until closing at 5 p.m.

A bake sale featuring various items will take place only on Friday starting at 10 a.m., continuing while supplies last. The fair includes thousands of fiction and nonfiction books organized into more than fifty categories, as well as children’s books, cookbooks, puzzles, DVDs, CDs, and other materials suitable for gifts or personal use.

All proceeds from the event support St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese Auxiliary programs benefiting hospital services in the community.
