There was one offender released on parole during the third quarter living near Illinois zip code 62009, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Taylorville zip code. The 37-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 9 years in prison for a crime involving drugs in 2012 when he was 30 years old.
