There was one offender released on parole during 2019 that lives in Iuka zip code 62849, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the released offender was Jeffrey L. Easley. He was convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2010, when he was 41. He is now 51.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
