City of Breese issued the following announcement on Feb. 9.
The Illinois Housing Development Authority is pleased to announce its Request for Applications under the Foreclosure Prevention Program (FPP), Round 8 and the Foreclosure Prevention Program Graduated Fund (FPPG), Round 5. The Dual Grant Application will combine the two funding programs into one application.
FPP and FPPG are authorized by Section 7.19 and 7.30 of the Illinois Housing Development Act. Funding comes from plaintiff paid foreclosure filing fees, which goes towards supporting housing counseling.
The application is now available at 
https://www.ihda.org/my-community/foreclosure-programs/ and is due by Friday, March 19th, 2020 at 3 pm. We will also be hosting an application webinar to answer questions.
