There were 19 lawyers in good standing in cities within Marion County as of the second quarter of 2025, according to the ARDC of the Supreme Court of Illinois.

The number of lawyers with active licenses remained the same when compared to the previous quarter.

Mid-level attorneys, such as those in Attorney III roles—who handle highly complex legal work with moderate supervision—earned on average $178,994 in Illinois, compared to $174,969 nationwide.
