Greenview Central Fire Protection District responded to 14 calls in 2017 - 75 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Greenview included 13 fires - six structure fires and seven other fires.

In all, the department saw $34,400 in fire loss - or about $2,646 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The Greenview Central Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $100,803 in 2017.
