Grant Wehrli led Democrat Val Montgomery in votes cast in Wheatland Township for the District 41 state House race, according to the latest vote count.
Wehrli appeared to outpace Montgomery by a margin of 5.9 percent on Tuesday in the township.
In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Grant Wehrli, won by a margin of 41.86 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Ed Agustin, who received 2,588 votes to Wehrli's 6,316.
