HSHS HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL: HSHS Holy Family Hospital invites community to free event July 5 to celebrate Hometown Heroes

Announcement

HSHS Holy Family Hospital issued the following announcement on June 24.

To kick off the weekend of Greenville’s Fourth Fest, HSHS Holy Family Hospital is excited to invite the community to a new “Hometown Heroes” free event at Holy Family Hospital on Friday, July 5 from 3 to 7 p.m. This event includes a free barbecue, kids’ activities, health fair, entertainment and more for the enjoyment of the entire family.

President and CEO Kelly Sager shared the reason why the hospital is hosting this free event for the community. “I want to invite area residents to join us in celebrating our country’s birth and our community as a whole, especially those who provide care and protection. I also want to take this opportunity to meet and greet more members of this community. I am so proud to serve as the new president and CEO, and I want to meet the people we serve through our health care ministry, and give them a chance to meet me. We also want to share the great things happening at our hospital – the new doctors, new services and new technology – all here to serve our community’s health needs,” she said. “Our Mission is to reveal and embody Christ’s healing love for all people through our high quality Franciscan health care ministry, and we are proud to be here serving you through that Mission.”

The following are some of the activities and things to see at the Hometown Heroes event:

Free barbecue meal of hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and more, served from 4 to 6 p.m.
