The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018, and the oldest was a 63-year-old man convicted of a crime against a person in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Antoine Peebles. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2012, when he was 36 years old. He is now 43.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
