Ordinance -

Motion to recommend to the City Council to direct the City Attorney to prepare an Ordinance to modify rates and language as originally stated in Ordinance No. 3558 per the recommendations of Fire Chief Adermann

Motion to recommend to the City Council to direct the City Attorney to prepare an Ordinance to amend the City Code Section 4-9-3 as presented by Fire Chief Adermann

Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the purchase of one NFPA 58, 2020 edition book and workbook, at a cost not to exceed $200.00

Finance –

Motion to recommend to the City Council to accept the low bid for the Generator Project from Prairie State Plumbing and Heating Inc. at a cost not to exceed $100,515.00, to be paid for from the Business Development District Fund in the 2020/2021 Fiscal Year

Motion to recommend to the City Council to reimburse HBO Goodall $633.83 for the purchase of a new iPad, protection plan, and equipment, to be paid for from the Health and Safety Equipment Line Item

Motion to recommend to the City Council to accept the Treasurer’s Report as presented

Street and Sewer –

Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the Special Events Permit for Walk A Mile in Her Shoes to be held on the Square on April 18, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Superintendent Mann to proceed with ordering a new Godwin Pump from Vandevanter Engineering at the total replacement coast of $26,673.59, if half of the cost is paid from the Water Fund

Motion to recommend to the City Council to accept the Estimate of Maintenance Cost for MFT Funds form as presented and approve the Resolution for Maintenance Under the Illinois Highway Code

Motion to approve and/or ratify payment of bills ($323,234.86)

• Per subparagraph (g) of 5 ILCS 120/2.06, this portion of the City Council Meeting is reserved for any person wishing to address the Council on any relevant subject matters concerning the City. The Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/1 et seq.) mandates NO action shall be taken on subject matters not listed on the agenda, but the Council may direct staff to address the topic or refer the subject matter to a future Council and/or Committee Meeting. If anyone wishes to address the Council, please provide your name and address, limit your comments or presentation to three (3) minutes, and avoid repetitious comments. Thank you.
