Ordinance – An Ordinance Amending the Zoning Classification of Certain Property (West School Investments LLC Property – 8.75 acres C-1)

Ordinance – An Ordinance Amending Paragraph B of Section 4-1-15 of Chapter 1 of Title 4 of the Taylorville City Code (re: Ambulance service fees)

Motion to approve and/or ratify a contract (in the City’s form or in such other form as the Mayor and/or City Attorney may otherwise approve) with Joe Coleman and/or Joe Coleman Salvage & Demolition Inc. to demolish and remove all debris, garbage junk, etc. from the property located at the 204 E. Main Cross, Taylorville, Illinois; and to waive any and all statutory and City bidding requirements concerning such contract

Ordinance – Approving the use of BDD Tax Funds for the Demolition and Debris, etc. Removal Work Concerning the said 204 E. Main Cross Property

Motion to approve the Affidavit and Consent to Demolish Property concerning said 204 E. Main Cross property to be executed by Trevis Parker, in the form as prepared by the City Attorney or in such other form as the Mayor and City Attorney may approve

Personnel –

Motion to recommend to the City Council to bid and/or advertise an Office Level 1 position in the City Clerk’s Office to be filled pending successful completion of 30 day probationary period for Deputy Clerk

Motion to recommend to the City Council to hire 18 Summer/Seasonal Help for the 2020 Season: HBO (1), Street/Sewer (7), Cemetery (5), Water (3), Lake (2)

Motion to recommend to the City Council to bid and/or advertise a Full Time Dispatcher position in the Police Department to bring the total number of Dispatchers to 5

Emergency Services -

Motion to recommend to the City Council to allow Chief Adermann to apply for the AFG Grant

Lake/Airport -

Motion to recommend to the City Council to direct the City Attorney to amend City Code 7-4-6 to extend the length of boat docks on a case to case basis

Motion to recommend to the City Council to direct the City Attorney to amend City Code 7-1-4 to allow two (2) campers on lake lot on a case by case basis and to amend the lake lot lease to reflect the changes

Motion to recommend to the City Council to forward the proposed FY 2020/2021 Lake Budget to the Finance Committee

Water/Environmental

Motion to recommend to the City Council to direct Mayor Barry to sign Plocher Change Order #5 in the amount of $20,630.40

Motion to recommend to the City Council to pay Benton & Associates $7,624.41 for work Performed related to the construction of the New Water Treatment Plant from December 22, 2019 through February 29, 2020

Motion to recommend to the City Council to pay Dickinson Hussman in the amount of $600.00 for work performed related to the construction of the New Water Treatment Plant from January 1, 2020 through January 31, 2020

Motion to recommend to the City Council to direct the City Attorney to draft an Ordinance in which the City will install a 6 inch main outside of City limits to allow the residents in the Lakewood Subdivision to connect to City Water, with all costs being born by the property owners accessing water service

Motion to recommend to the City Council to forward Water Superintendent salary adjustment to the Personnel Committee

Motion to approve and/or ratify payment of bills ($155,825.32)

• Per subparagraph (g) of 5 ILCS 120/2.06, this portion of the City Council Meeting is reserved for any person wishing to address the Council on any relevant subject matters concerning the City.
