Chief Doerr compensation discussion. For the last two years I have attempted to provide the Chief with appropriate compensation for his position and performance. The Chief has stated instead of a salary adjustment he would prefer to have the Longevity Clause of the Police Contract apply to his position. (see attached)

Chief Doerr start date: 2/23/2009 Longevity per police Contract attached.

The Longevity payment on completion of ten (10) years of service will receive an additional 5% increase.

The Longevity payment will increase to 10% after fifteen (15) years of service. Salary adjustments will be awarded annually at the beginning of each budget period.

Chief's current salary for Fiscal 2020 - 2021 is $65,915.20 including the 2.5% approved. The 2.5% increase amounted to $1 ,647.88. Increasing the 2.5% current pay raise to 5% would add another $1 ,647.88 to his current salary bringing it to $67,563.08.

No objections to Chief Doerr's compensation proposal.
