Edinburg Fire Protection District responded to 22 calls in 2018 - 12 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Edinburg included 21 fires - 12 structure fires, three vehicle fires and six other fires.

In all, the department saw $362,000 in fire loss - or about $17,238 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The Edinburg Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $48,581 in 2018.
