The second half of 2020: Home prices in Aviston increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Aviston rose by $46,550 while total sales increased by 55.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $169,000 - a 38% increase over the $122,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Aviston in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Aviston for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,017, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
