There was no other action with respect to closed session.
Superintendent’s Report: Student enrollment – K-8 110 (-2), PreK 16 and 1 off campus for a total of 127 which is down 2 from the September report.
There are now two security lights on our new parking lot. I have spoken to Guinzy regarding a “rain guard” over the exterior front doors. I have spoken to Mike Eisenhauer regarding enclosing the existing chain link fence. Mike came last week for measurements and a diagram. As a reminder, I will be in Chicago (Triple I Conference) November 18-21. I can be reached via the usual ways. Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for this Thursday from 12:30-5:30 pm. These conferences will be conducted either in-person or via phone. We have conducted several emergency drills (fire including the Ashley Fire Department, bus and earthquake). We will soon be conducting a shooter drill. The tax levy will be discussed next meeting. Kristen Rollie will begin her duties November 1. Her classroom will be in the science lab. The current kindergarten roster will be split. The basketball season has begun. Boys and girls are playing on the same team. The first game was at home last Tuesday. The next games will be played November 6-12 in the Pinckneyville #204 Invitational. I will soon be gauging interest in volleyball.
