Earlier today, four area high schools competed in the 2023 Illinois Drafting Educators Association, IDEA, Regional Drafting Competition hosted by KC Associate Professor of Architectural Design & Building Technology Rob Jervis. Participating schools included Mater Dei Catholic High School, Centralia High School, Breese Central Community High School, and Nashville Community High School. Students competed in eight divisions: Assembly Modeling, 3D Modeling, Introductory CAD, Machine CAD, Architectural CAD 3D, Introductory Board, Architectural Board, and Architectural CAD 2D.
