Analysis: Centralia pays $2.20 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Centralia Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 68.8 percent of the $13,996 the Centralia Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund brought in last year, or $2.20 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Centralia contributed $9,630 to the fund, which saw a $1,385 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $4,366, or 31.2 percent, in 2016.
