Report: Willow Grove spent $9,341 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Willow Grove School District 46 is up 13 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Clinton County school district spent $8,287 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $9,341 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 166 to 158.

Willow Grove's spending in 2016-17 was 28 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
