Community Hospital of Staunton issued the following announcement on Oct. 12.
We recently contributed $500 to the St. Paul U.C.C. Pack-a-Sack Program. This program provides weekend meals to 70 school-aged children every week. Each bag of food costs approximately $5.00 and includes small boxes of cereal, fruit and grain bars, fruit cups, microwaveable macaroni and cheese, and snack items. The bags of food are designed for children to be able to feed themselves over the weekend. If you would like to contribute to the Pack-a-Sack Program, please contact Pastor Debbie Atkins at 635-2386.
