PANA COMMUNITY HOSPITAL: Hospice Receives Donation

Announcement

Pana Community Hospital issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.

Quad County Hospice received a donation of five handmade crochet blankets. Loraine Manuel made and donated these warm and beautiful blankets. Loraine said, “I hope that Quad County Hospice patients can enjoy them and maybe it will keep them warm during the holidays.” Rachael Springate, Quad County’s Volunteer Coordinator said, “Our patients really enjoy receiving care blankets. Some blankets are handmade quilts, while others are tied fleece blankets and now we have handmade crochet blankets. This adds to the personal care that Quad County provides. We are grateful for all the donations that we receive and we want to say thank you to Loraine.”

All care blankets are delivered to each hospice patient. Quad County Hospice serves four counties Christian, Shelby, Fayette, and Montgomery. If you have questions on our Care Blankets please contact Rachael Springate at 217-562-6290.
