Pana Community Hospital issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
Ramsey Medical Group is pleased to announce Dr. Dennis Yap, Family Practice physician, will be seeing new and existing patients in the community beginning Monday, November 19. Dr. Yap will see patients in Ramsey every Monday and is in the Pana office every Tuesday and Thursday.
Dr. Dennis Yap has been practicing medicine as a Board Certified Family Practice physician in the Springfield area for 27 years. He owns and operates his own practice located on the west side of Springfield. He is a native of the Philippines and a naturalized U.S. citizen. Dr. Yap is the nephew of Dr. Virgil and Gloria Dycoco. He has been practicing 2 days a week in the Pana office since 2016.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Yap to our Ramsey clinic,” stated Lori Ade, Practice Manager. “Dr. Yap is an exceptional physician and provides individualized, quality care to his patients. He will be an excellent addition to providing hometown quality care to the people of Ramsey and surrounding communities.”
To make an appointment with Dr. Yap or Dr. Muneses in Ramsey, call 618-423-2412. Dr. Muneses will continue seeing patients in Ramsey on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and in Pana on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
