Report: Ramsey spent $9,927 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Ramsey Community Unit School District 204 is up 10.3 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Fayette County school district spent $9,003 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,927 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 497 to 445.

Ramsey's spending in 2017-18 was 25.6 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
