Report: Willow Grove spent $8,972 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Willow Grove School District 46 is up 3.9 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Clinton County school district spent $8,638 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $8,972 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 188 to 157.

Willow Grove's spending in 2017-18 was 32.7 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
