Report: St. Rose spent $8,541 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at St. Rose School District 14-15 is up 3 percent from five years ago, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Clinton County school district spent $8,293 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $8,541 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 181 to 161.

St. Rose's spending in 2017-18 was 36 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
