Administrators in South Fork School District 14 earn an average of $66,588 per year, ranking 825th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a South Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 36.9% higher than in 2014 and 29.9% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 37.9% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Christian County school district enrolled 331 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 95 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
