Kayla Ochs, Inpatient Care Coordination
Kayla deserves to be employee of the month because she values teamwork and has an amazing attitude at work. She is always willing to help any department. She always helps the therapy department arrange any equipment needs at home. She truly has the patient's best interest at heart. She will make multiple phone calls to make sure patients have all their needs met before discharge. She will lobby to insurance companies on the patient's behalf to make sure they can get the care they need while in the hospital. She also consistently makes discharge phone call to check on patients at home. It doesn't matter how high the inpatient census is or how stressful her day is, she always has a smile and friendly attitude toward patients and coworkers. Fayette County Hospital is truly blessed to have Kayla.
