Centralia home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Centralia rose by $21,350 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $35,000 - a 156.4% increase over the $13,650 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Centralia in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Centralia for 2017 was $941. In 2016, the median sales tax was $941, as well. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.7%.
