Patoka home prices fall in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Patoka fell by $63,750 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $43,750 - a 59.3% decrease over the $107,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Patoka in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Patoka for 2017 was $956. In 2016, the median sales tax was $956, as well. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
