City of Carlyle recently issued the following announcement.
The McKendree Invitational was held at Carlyle Lake on Saturday, May 4, 2019. The college anglers showed up and put on a show.
Our local fishing expert, Alan Crocker, was on hand for the tournament and said there were some really impressive fish caught at this tournament, seven fish over five pounds.
