The data shows that nine men and one women were released in Centralia. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee is a 24-year-old man sentenced for property crimes in 2017, and the oldest is a 54-year-old woman sentenced for crimes involving drugs in 2016.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Briton G. McCray. He was convicted of property crimes in 2014 when he was 21 years old. He is now 25.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
