Q2 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Montgomery County?

There were six offenders released on parole during the second quarter that live in Montgomery County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that four men and two women were released in Montgomery County. The median age of the parolees was 37. The youngest parolee was a 29-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 58-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jared Chadwick. He was convicted of a property crime in 2014 when he was 28 years old. He is now 33.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter in each Montgomery County municipality.
