Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Clinton County?

There were six offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in Clinton County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that five men and one woman were released in Clinton County. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2017, and the oldest was a 56-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Eric B. Wright. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2009 when he was 36 years old. He is now 46.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each Clinton County municipality.
