There was one offender released on parole during the second quarter living near Illinois zip code 62293, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Taylorville zip code. The 33-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 5 years in prison for a crime involving drugs in 2015 when he was 29 years old.
