There was one offender released on parole during the second quarter living near Illinois zip code 62640, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Southwestern Illinois zip code. The 32-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 3 years in prison for a crime involving drugs in 2016 when he was 30 years old.
