There was one offender released on parole during the second quarter living near Illinois zip code 62849, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Southwestern Illinois zip code. The 27-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 3 years in prison for a property crime in 2016 when he was 24 years old.
