Preschool class size/setting priority—information/action

AGS has more preschoolers than spots. We will need to have a smaller morning class to maintain our special education students (4) along with some non-IEP kids for a total around 12.

- Dr. Kampwerth reached out to non-residents who signed up to let them know AGS can’t hold a spot for non-resident student.

- Still waiting for a few decisions on whether a student goes on to kindergarten or stays in preschool.

- There will be very few if any spots for 3-year olds again.

At the present time, no changes to staff.

Per discussion at April meeting, Mitch presented information and pricing for completing all grade 1st-8th grade teaching staff with Promethean boards.

Benefits include:

 Maximized in-person training in August

 Equipment of similar style/functionality

 Smartboards have aged out and do not function well

Motion to approve the purchase of five additional Promethean boards plus accessories, first by Schulte, second by Iiams. All in favor

Motion by Strubhart second by Jansen to hold a special meeting on June 25, 2019 at 7:00 PM to amend the district budget for FY19. All in Favor

**Closed Session—not needed

Motion by Thole second by Jansen to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 PM. All in favor.
