Hillsboro home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Hillsboro rose by $2,000 while total sales decreased by 21.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $57,000 - a 3.6% increase over the $55,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Hillsboro in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Hillsboro for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,698, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
