Hillsboro home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Hillsboro fell by $21,600 while total sales decreased by 62.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $49,900 - a 30.2% decrease over the $71,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Hillsboro in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Hillsboro for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,595, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
