2019 Recap: Parolees near Illinois zip code 62801 convicted of crimes against children

There were three offenders convicted of crimes against children released on parole near Illinois zip code 62801 during 2019, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the South Central Reporter.

The data shows that three men were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for crimes against children was 40. The youngest parolee was a 29-year-old man sentenced in 2011, and the oldest was a 54-year-old man sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Michael Foutch. He was convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2010 when he was 29 years old. He is now 38.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
