The data shows that the six released offenders living in Brighton zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 40. The youngest parolee was a 28-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2018, and the oldest was a 43-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Toby McCord. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2014, when he was 36 years old. He is now 42.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
