Q3 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Bond County?

There were seven offenders released on parole during the third quarter of 2019 that live in Bond County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Central Reporter.

The data shows that three men and four women were released in Bond County. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old man sentenced for a crime against justice in 2019, and the oldest was a 41-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Amanda L. Whiteley. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018 when she was 38 years old. She is now 41.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter of 2019 in each Bond County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
