Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Tri-County Beauty Academy

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Tri-County Beauty Academy, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $13,600 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 88 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 5 students received grants or scholarships totaling $17,447 and 6 students took out student loans totaling more than $28,054.

Including all undergraduates (16), 11 students used grants or scholarships totaling $35,035, and 14 students took out $78,361 in federal student loans.
