Coulterville Fire Protection District responded to 15 calls in 2018 - 60.5 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Coulterville included 14 fires - five structure fires and nine other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $5,000 in fire loss - or about $357 per fire.

The Coulterville Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $163,696 in 2018.
