Hillsboro home prices fell in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Hillsboro fell by $7,450 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $40,000 - a 15.7% decrease over the $47,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Hillsboro in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Hillsboro for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,751, approximately 4.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
